Multi Point Locks

We supply most multi point locks from leading manufacturers.

Because of the numerous variants associated with the many locks available, we prefer to discuss your requirements by telephone and therefore minimise the risk of you ordering the incorrect lock.

The hard part is identifying the correct lock. If you do identify the correct MPL, then replacing it 'like for like' is easy .

You normally just have to cut the overall length down to size using a hacksaw.

The locks are usually removed from the door by first removing the Euro cylinder (See instructions on Euro cylinders) and the removing the door handles (see instructions on door handles)

Removing all the screws from the face plate of the lock usually enables the lock to be pulled out from the edge of the door.

There are then a few things you can do before you ring to help us identify the lock:

  • Is there a name or a logo on the lock (usually on the face plate)
  • What is the distance between the spindle (handle) and the centre of the Euro cylinder (where your key goes in)
  • What is the back set of the lock (the centre of the spindle to the faceplate)
  • How many rollers or hooks does the lock have and measure the distances between them

Telephone, fax or Email us once you have all the measurements and we can supply you with the correct replacement.
