Euro Cylinder UPVC DOOR CYLINDERS

6 Pin anti drill EURO Cylinders.

Suitable for UPVC, Aluminium and some timber doors. (Suppied with three keys). The most important thing to remember is to order the exact same size that you take out (assuming it is correct in the first place) . Most DIY stores only stock one or two sizes and this leads to incorrect cylinders being used.

The most important measurement is the outside measurement from the cente of the swivel arm to the end of the lock. With the handles in place the cylinder must be protruding from the outside no more than 5mm. (The inside protrusion is not quite as important)

To remove the cylinder simply take out the retaining screw from the edge of the door. (This is usually about 40mm long) put the key in the cylinder and turn it slightly to about 5 degrees and  pull the cylinder out (If it doesn't pull out with the key turned 5 degrees one way try turning it five degrees the other.

Measure the cylinder from the centre of the swivel arm to both sides of the cylinder. Please remember when looking at the size option a 40/45 is the same as 45/40 and so on.
