All our Espag handles can be used as left or right handed.
To replace: If the old handle is still in place, move the old handle to the open position. Flick out the cover over the concealed screw. Remove both screws (they are usually about 30mm long), pull the handle away from the frame towards you and expose the spindle. Measure the spindle length and order as required.
To fit the new handle , move it to the open position, push the spindle back into the window and put back the screws you originally took out. Close the handle and cover the exposed screw head with the small cover provided. (peel off the back of the cover to stick on)
Longer spindles can be used providing they don't touch the back of the frame. therefore always order the spindle which is the same as you have now or longer. (they can always be cut shorter using a hacksaw)
